Ming military-technology transfers to Southeast Asia
War & military technology · Pólvora · Transferencia tecnológica · Fabricación de armas · Redes marítimas
Research on mainland Southeast Asia describes the circulation of Ming Chinese gunpowder technologies by overland and maritime routes before European weapons reached many of those regions. Transfers were selective and adapted to local workshops, states, and conflicts; they do not represent passive reception or a fixed technological hierarchy between China and its neighbors.
