Privacy and preferences
You can explore Tempora without accepting analytics. Preferences are saved in this browser; reopen them from any page footer. When storage is blocked, first-party metrics remain disabled.
If you allow Tempora metrics, we record actions such as opening a record, changing layers or exporting a view, along with language and filter context. These events do not store IP addresses, search text or a user identifier. Events older than 90 days are deleted when new metrics are recorded and through periodic server cleanup; they are not used for advertising.
Google Analytics is a separate option when configured. Its code downloads only after you save permission. Withdrawal disables sending and removes Analytics cookies accessible to this site. Google processes that data under its own terms. Google privacy policy.
To limit abuse, the server temporarily uses a connection-address hash with a secret salt. Those counters expire and are periodically cleaned up. Hosting infrastructure may retain technical access and security logs; this application does not control their retention.
Editorial suggestions contain the topic and context you write. Email and contact details are not requested. Avoid personal data in free text. Suggestions are retained to review the proposal and document its resolution. Administrative access requires authentication and editing actions create an audit record.
