1356 CE
Golden Bull of 1356
Law & constitutions · Constituciones, elección y gobierno imperial
The Golden Bull regulated election of the King of the Romans by seven prince-electors and aspects of imperial political order. It gave durable shape to Holy Roman Empire procedures, but was neither a modern national constitution nor an end to the empire’s territorial and jurisdictional diversity.
