1913 CE
Indian miners’ and workers’ strike in South Africa
Trabajo y organización laboral · Minería · Trabajo migrante · Resistencia anticolonial
In 1913 Indian workers, including miners, joined strikes and marches against taxes, mobility restrictions, and labour conditions. The action linked labour, colonialism, and law, but does not erase differences of gender, occupation, caste, or migrant status among participants.
